  1. Wonderful books and music Says:

Excuse me, but I see no literacy, historic wonder here, what I read of this piece of trash is: this is a piece of obscene garbage!!! Men with objects shoved up their butts, men forced and enjoying to perform explict graphic sex with other men, extreme cruelty, women having graphic sex with each other, women having their butts spanked and blistered. WHAT PLOT!!!!!!
What I don’t understand is how these series of books ever passed a censor and why they don’t have some kind of warning on the covers.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a profound work of art, it is an excuse of writing. It should be rated XXX and kept out of the hands of anyone under 21!!! If booze is illegal before that age, then this vulgar sex book should be also.
I don’t care if this is Ms. Rice fantasy, she should keep to Vampires and leave her imagination on this field alone. I can just see some weirdo sex offender feeding on this stuff for his performace on the next victom. It can give any one ideas on how to hurt people in the real world, There are enough bad things being done to others without fresh new ideas to apply to the world of cruelty.

  2. D.L.Keegan Says:

What is the targeted educational level of the audience Anne Rand is writing for in Beauty’s Release? As this is adult material we can ascertain that readers are expected to be 18 or older; but in order to comprehend the material in all it’s complexity, what would the minimum developmental age of the reader be? This is a pertinent question for us as we have an 18 year old reader who may be considered developmentally delayed, and she is thoroughly enjoying this novel. We’d appreciate any input. Thank you.

Well, Sleeping Beauty was never told like this before! If you go for this kind of thing, I guess you’ll like it, but it’s way too much spanking and kind of silly groveling around and subjugation that I can’t take seriously.

read it because i bought the trilogy set. my bad x3. if you like anne rice don’t read this junk, it’ll tarnish your opinion of her writing ability. how could such a good story teller (vampires) miss all the fairytale and just write porn? stick to vampires anne. . . please.

  5. Anti-Bush Patriot Says:

Time to get out the paddle, you bad, BAD girl! When I first read the first book of this trilogy I disliked it: I thought it was abusive and ugly, and my feminist peers would generally agree with me. Eventually, years later, I came to realize that the author’s fantasy life does not equal anything in the real world. It seemed more like comedy, though there are places within the trilogy where Beauty is moved to compassion and tenderness that makes turns away from the comic to the endearing.
