This is the only plan that makes sense. I feel so strongly about it that if he doesn't make it, I don't care who wins. I believe that they are more or less the same, and they will end up destroying our country.
If Ron Paul doesn't make the general election, perhaps whoever wins will hurt us enough so that next time people will listen to common sense. There is some historical precedent for this thinking, after all we couldn't have had Reagan without Carter, and I think that it doesn't matter who is elected, we will have Carter again, along with 21% interest rates.
Any housewife knows that if you spend all your money on foolishness, there won't be any left for necessities.
Contrary to popular belief, printing more money doesn't build wealth. It doesn't matter if it is a kid in his garage or the government, printing money makes what we have worth less. That is why there are laws against it.

Yes, I am aware of these charges because I am the tightwad who reads all of the fine print they send with credit and debit cards. This is one of the reasons I do not use them either. Sorry, but the person in line behind me is just going to have to wait as I write out a check. They now process them instantly as well, which I find disgusting because if I wanted to pay with a debit card, I would have tendered one. But, most banks will waive the overdraft fees for a certain number of times (thankfully I've never had one) per year on checks but won't do the same on debit cards. It is just one more way our financial institutions are taking control of our money just as soon as they can and charging us for the priviledge of doing so.

The letter is too long and very well may not be read. Write a shorter one./

If they thought McCain was even worse, and voted against him?

People will pay more attention to the other guy's top issues than their preferred candidate's lower-priority issues.

Ron Paul made some serious mistakes in his campaign. In trying to appeal to the paleoconservative, close-the-borders and anti-choice elements of the Republican party, he alienated many libertarians and libertarian-leaning people in various parties.

Did you really think anyone here would take the time to read all that to answer what's obviously a homework problem?

Just a thought here. . . have you considered asking in person or at least by phone? That may be a lot easier than obsessing over all your words since you have a story to tell about why you're wanting this letter and that means reading quite a lot of text. Grammar, structure, etc. matter much less in real-time conversation. . . and being a little nervous isn't nearly as bad as you think as long as you can still speak semi-coherently. :)

I personally used to *hate* going to talk to professors, especially if you're hoping they'll do something like this for you, since important people kind of freaked me out. . . but it's actually less awkward than trying to ask for something in text once you've gotten psyched up to walk up to their office or start dialing. And it makes the process much easier the next time around should you need more favors. I'm actually shocked that I'm the type who'd say this now, but that's what I'd do in a heartbeat these days. (Note that I'm not saying I'm 100% comfortable even now, though — you just do what you need to do.) Some things just work *so* much better when you can get feedback mid-stream.

Oh, and it's a lot better to look silly in front of one of your teachers than one of your potential or current bosses if it comes to this. Might as well get some more practice?
